MY ABC CLASS tutors are all very popular with students, we know this as we ask students to regularly feedback their experiences in class. With this in mind, we will try and accommodate students to be taught by preferred teachers when necessary for private classes if the tutors schedule allows. Group classes are generally taught by one specific tutor to gain a strong learning bond, on occasion this may change due to a tutors availability however.

Environment – It’s really important that you pick a quiet place with as little background as possible. This is extremely important so you are able to hear the tutors instructions, model the English accent successfully and other students can enjoy their learning experience too.

With that in mind students MUST be polite and respectful when discussing subjects such as religion and politics. Everybody has differing beliefs and we ask students to respect others too.

Substance Misuse – MY ABC CLASS strictly prohibits the use of alcohol, drugs and smoking during classes.

Personal Information – It is prohibited to exchange personal information with tutors, this is for both party’s privacy and safety. MY ABC CLASS tutors and students are both required not to share any personal information via the chat box, audio or video and also social media platforms.

Solicitation

MY ABC CLASS is a place of learning and in order to do this, students are required not to solicit services, advertise products or provide tutors with external forms of payments, gifts or tips for their services.

Depending on the course you enroll on your class length will either be 25 minutes or 40 minutes. Students are expected to join a class at least 3 minutes before the start of the session. Corporate clients class times may differ depending on their requirements.

MY ABC CLASS is dedicated to providing the best resources to all our Young Learners that are available. We use Oxford University Press curriculum in classes for our Young Learner courses. Many of our students are looking to begin, improve or master the English language when they join MY ABC CLASS’ General courses. They choose us because we provide a structured curriculum which adheres to The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). We have an incredible selection of course materials (450 hours and growing) which includes all you will ever need to know using English in any daily situation. All our General English courses are interactive and students are able to really immerse themselves into it with the use of role plays and relevant content.

You don’t have to be a CEO or senior business leader to benefit from MY ABC CLASS Business courses. We provide All Levels Learning enabling basic speakers to build confidence in their professional lives using the English language. Our Business courses are aimed at professionals who want to not only improve their day to day English speaking but really want to be more confident using it in their working lives too. We have dedicated modules which cover a vast number of workplace situations such as ‘Meeting Presentations’ and ‘Sales Networking’ to name a few. Our content has been created not only by educators but also industry experts from different business functions to give relevancy in the real business world.

This depends entirely on the course that you choose. Generally, however each course has 12 classes. Students who choose private tuition can take classes as little or often as they like as long as the classes are completed within a set period specified when they purchase a course plan. Group classes are more rigid and generally meet twice a week and take approximately 2 and a half months to complete each course level.

Our free placement test and demo class not only give you a look at our services but also give MY ABC CLASS a good understanding of your English proficiency. This allows us to place you on the right course for you. We carry out assessments during the course to make sure students are progressing at the right speed too. If students feel they want more or less advanced classes we are happy to discuss this on a case by case basis.
